K. Balasupramaniam has been part of scores of rescuers,
helping people, saving lives.
Then one day, he found himself lying
on a road, unable to move or speak, barely able to draw breath. He had
been in a motorcycle accident, and passers-by thought he was
dead.

voluntary rescue and relief mission work in Bam, Iran, it is
hard to believe that this pint-sized lady is trained as a
firefighter.
Anita’s voluntary services is not just a
‘part-time job’ but a passion that transcends all aspects of
her life, being on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |

大馬志願消拯隊（MVFRA）隊員現場示範火災發生時，如何從火場攜帶昏迷的弟弟或妹妹逃生。昨日（4日）在馬六甲皇冠百利廣場參與“兒童防火實習營”的小學員，馬上學以致用，帶著弟弟逃出生天。
家里發生火災，往往有很多小孩因不懂得逃生技巧及慌張，最后被火燒死，“兒童防火實習營”除了讓學員們學習遇上火災自保的方式，也讓學員們學習火場救人正確技巧。
