MVFRA was conducting the
home safe home program at a high-rise condo in Sentul when a
desperate call came in from a nearby block.The MVFRA Fantastic 4 led by Capt. K. Bala,
Lt. M. Kody, Lt. Anita Lim and L/Corp Rohazmi Kanafih put
their hands together with the help of the members of public
and the building management to save Ceriyati Dapin, 33 who
desperately hang
on to her self-made bunggy rope.
This abused maid made her way down from the
16th floor and stranded at the 13th floor when she realized
her self-made bungy rope give way.
Rescue effort carried out from the 14th floor
window using 8mm dynamic rope which was anchored to Lt. M.
Kody and two more 11mm ropes were anchored from a nearby
points.
An
anonymous France fireman who lives nearby joint the effort
who M. Mahendren, the Senior Secuirty Personal and L/Corp
Rohazmi Kanafih put hands together to support the belly
anchor and guide throughout the operation.
On the ground, Lt Anita Lim coordinated the
rescue effort and communication throughout the operation.
On the rescue line, Capt. K. Bala reached out
to Ceriyati and secured her with harness around her chest
before she was lowered by two rescue lines (one guided and
another one with stopper) to the immediate floor below
safely.
The whole
operation took us a quick 15 minutes and no one is injured.
Ceriyati who was found with full of bruises
in her face an body was hand over to the management.
