ambulance to MVFRA
Resorts World Bhd donated a brand new
ambulance to the Fire and Rescue Volunteers
Malaysia (MVFRA) as part of the company's
corporate responsibility initiative.
Y Bhg Tan Sri Alwi Jantan, Executive
Director of RWB handed over the mock key of
the ambulance to Vol. Capt. K.
Balasupramaniam, Chairman of MVFRA and
witnessed by YB Datuk Ong Tee Keat, Minister
of Transport at the launch of Buckle-Up
Kiddies Programme on 3rd August
2008 at Sunway Pyramid, Selangor.
The ambulance has been fitted with life
support equipment, airway equipment such as
portable oxygen set, immobilization devices
for neck and spinal injury victims, rescue
stretchers, splint set, infection control
facilities and other life saving apparatus.
It will be used in emergency situations
during road traffic accidents.
RWB hopes that with this new ambulance,
MVFRA would be able to assist in
providing faster and more efficient
emergency rescue services in Klang Valley.
RWB will continue to make similar
contributions for the benefit of the
community's safety and welfare
